Mass Effect: Andromeda might be around one year away from its official launch date but the new Bioware experience remains a mystery when it comes to both the narrative and the gameplay, with a full reveal planned for a later in the year.

But gamers can now take a closer look at the character model associated with the main character, which is called Pathfinder, via some renders posted by a super fan on Twitter.
The model was created by Herbert Lowis at Bioware Montreal and will be used on the coming Mass Effect: Andromeda as well as in advertising material associated with it, having already made an appearance in the trailer that shows off the premise of the experience.
As the name implies, the new title will move the action to a new galaxy and will take place a long time after the effects of the original trilogy, which means Commander Shepard and his cast of companions will not be involved in the action.
Pathfinder will serve as the player avatar in Mass Effect: Andromeda and Bioware has made it clear that the new video game will have a bigger focus on exploration and on dealing with cultures and factions that have not interacted with the rest of the galaxy before.
A new Mako will be introduced to give gamers options when it comes to travelling across the new planets they discover.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is arriving in early 2017 During the Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference Blake Jorgensen, the chief financial officer of Electronic Arts, has said that the new game is set to arrive before the end of the fourth quarter of the fiscal year, which means at some point before March 31 of 2017.
This probably means that more details will start arriving during the suited of events that the company is planning to run alongside the E3 2016 trade show.
Bioware has been saying that it wants its new title to take the best ideas of the original trilogy and build on them in interesting ways, offering players new ways to interact with the worlds that they discover.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is created using the Frostbite 3 engine that the studio also used to put Dragon Age: Inquisition together.
Bioware is also rumored to be working on a Star Wars themed video game that mixes action and role-playing game elements but no official information about its mechanics or story will probably be offered this year.
