Marvel Heroes 2015, the popular free-to-play action role-playing game made by Gazillion celebrates today, June 4, its second anniversary and players are in for quite a few goodies, such as the fresh Doctor Doom character, not to mention a celebratory live stream and other such things.

Marvel comics have been popular for decades and, in recent years, the movies released by its Studios division have won over hundreds of millions of fans worldwide. In the virtual world, by far one of the most popular experiences has been Marvel Heroes 2015, the free-to-play experience released by Gazillion two years ago.
The second anniversary of Marvel Heroes 2015 brings great things

The online title is celebrating today, June 4, its second anniversary and quite a few different festivities are going live as we speak.

First up, players can enjoy the 48th playable character, in the form of Doctor Doom. Voiced by Lex Lang, as you can see in the impressive introduction video below, the villain brings some interesting things to Marvel Heroes 2015 and can be played, alongside all other characters, for free up until level 10.

Besides this fresh protagonist, players can also enjoy the Team-Up 2.0 revamp of the basic mechanic, not to mention new gifting options and an overhauled retcon system. Fans of The Thing can also enjoy an improved design for the Fantastic Four character, with better quality textures.

Last but not least, the Gazillion team is holding a special celebratory live stream for Marvel Heroes 2015 on Twitch. Anyone who also streams the multiplayer game today will get a special shoutout on Twitter from the Gazillion team, so you might get a few extra followers or even subscribers on the streaming service.
