Since its original release more than 30 years ago, Tetris has managed to stump players of all skill levels. Now that Sega’s got a new version of the classic falling block puzzle game heading to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 next week, the publisher is eager to help us figure out how Tetris’ secret tricks so that we Tetris amateurs might one day rank with the best of ‘em.

Sega of America’s YouTube channel updated with several tutorials for the upcoming Puyo Puyo Tetris, which combines both venerated puzzle franchises into one package. The video series focuses on the combos and puzzle setups players should memorize to start killing it at Tetris.

Narrating these vexing videos is one of the best Puyo Puyo Tetris players out there. Streamer S2LSOFTENER can be heard explaining the steps it takes to nail a perfect clear on every round of Tetris you play. Watching him play is beyond impressive, even if we lack confidence in our own abilities to ever replicate these moves.

S2LSOFTENER’s game of choice may be Puyo Puyo, though, based on his own collection of videos. Sega’s official tutorials don’t ignore that half of the crossover game. There’s a bunch of uploads focusing on the best Puyo Puyo tactics too, should anyone frustrated by their inability to master Tetris want to try the bubble-filled puzzle game instead.
