When Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters, the galactic warlord named Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, will leave his space throne and land on Earth, prepared to tear the planet apart to get his hands on the Infinity Stones. What's an Avenger to do when faced with such a threat? The only answer is that the team of Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes have to kill the mad titan.

Is that even possible, though? After all, Thanos practically has the power of a god--and a more powerful one than Thor (Chris Hemsworth), at that--and seems untouchable in the trailers that have been seen thus far. However, it can happen and if there's any hope for the world, it has to happen.

As for how it'll happen, take a look at GameSpot's video above for a full rundown of how different members of the team could wipe out the purple powerhouse once and for all. Whether it's Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Thor, or Captain America (Chris Evans), so many in the MCU have experience fighting Thanos. It could be almost anyone, except Hawkeye. Not only does he not have powers, he might not even be in the movie. Besides, would anyone believe that Hawkeye was the solution t the world's biggest threat?

Of course, the most likely options to kill Thanos are Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana). The characters introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy have the closest connection to the maniacal villain and each has reasons for wanting their adopted father dead. It remains to be seen how they would actually follow through in killing Thanos, but the duo seems to be the best bet when it comes to destroying him.

Exactly how the story of Thanos--and his ultimate undoing--will unfold is still one of the biggest secrets in the MCU. Luckily, it won't for much longer, as Avengers: Infinity War is in theaters on April 27.
