The developers at Blizzard in charge of Heroes of the Storm are announcing that they are working on a new big update for the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. Some of the changes they are planning to make are to add more observer slots and to introduce new announcements linked to ability cooldowns.

The idea is to make the title as accessible as possible and to give players the information they need to constantly improve their performance and to deliver a better overall experience during matches.
Blizzard states on the official site that the number of slots for observers in custom game lobbies will be increased from two to six, which opens up the option of delivering multiple language casts for the most important titles, adding a special stats observer or track action in more areas of the map at the same time.
The ability cooldown announcements coming to Heroes of the Storm will expand the information horizon for all gamers and will focus on availability, mana limitations, charge counts, ability timers, and more hero-related details.
Blizzard explains, "On your way to a team-fight and your Heroic Ability just came off cooldown? Alt+Click the ability icon and a message will pop up in chat letting your team know the ability is ready, and it’s a great time to engage!"
The company wants gamers to deliver some feedback on the way these new systems will influence their experience in Heroes of the Storm, but it is not yet willing to say when the new major update for the MOBA will be introduced.
New heroes and other gameplay tweaks are also coming Blizzard is aiming at a solid patch release schedule for its video games to keep the communities built around them engaged and to make sure that the titles offer solid gameplay and fun outcomes.
For Heroes of the Storm, the company is offering a classic weekly revamp of the store, and constantly exploring its biggest franchises to find the kinds of heroes that they can successfully integrate into the MOBA.
Recently, the studio has sought to add unique gameplay mechanics for the various characters and has also been balancing the abilities of already existing ones via incremental updates.
The community is also asking for further tweaks to the proprietary matchmaking system, but Blizzard has not talked about whether the next update for the video game will include them.
Heroes of the Storm has to compete with two very big titles, League of Legends from Riot Games and DOTA 2 from Valve, which have already secured the loyalty of a wide number of gamers.
Blizzard is aiming to make the game as accessible as possible, with clearly defined roles for players and easy-to-understand core mechanics, in order to open up the genre for a wide range of potential players.
Heroes of the Storm is free to play and allows all those who want to access special skins and a wider number of heroes to use micropayments to secure new content.
