Developer 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft have managed to keep up a solid pace of new content releases for Halo 5: Guardians, and the two companies are aiming to offer plenty of goodies for gamers in the coming months, although the next content pack is not coming during March.

According to the official site, Ghosts of Meridian is designed to add a new multiplayer mode to the shooter while expanding the number of maps, weapons and other REQ cards that gamers can use and will be offered at some point in early April.
That probably means that the long-awaited Warzone Firefight mode for Halo 5: Guardians will debut in July rather than June, as fans were previously speculating.
343 Industries states that it wants the new mode to give gamers a chance to show off their unique look and Spartan capabilities as they team up with a number of other characters and battle a variety of powerful enemy groups.
Social Fiesta is the new experience that gamers can enjoy over the course of the entire coming week, with random primary and secondary weapons creating a wide variety for gamers to experience.
A hotfix for Halo 5: Guardians and fixes some issues that gamers have been reporting since the Hammer Storm update was delivered.
The Competitive Skill Rank system has been tweaked Brian Richards, a software engineer, working at 343 Industries, says that a new competitive season has started and that it includes an updated ranking distribution for all Arena players.
He explains, "part of our process for season rollovers was to update the CSR curves in each playlist to reflect the actual skill of the population playing in them. With the new skill curves, you may see a difference after your placement matches in some of the playlists this season. Separately, it is worth noting that we’re actively investigating CSR feedback we’ve gotten from players at top skill levels to determine improvements that can be made to the system."
Other tweaks for the matchmaking in Halo 5: Guardians are currently being tested and will probably be live during the coming weeks.
343 Industries and Microsoft have a plan to offer free updates for the shooter during its first year on the market and to organize interesting community events, with the finals of the World Championship set to take place before the end of the month, with all the action streamed online for fans to follow.
