I'm over 30 which probably plays a huge part, but I cannot see any reason for graphic to be more important to gameplay. Even today I go back and play colonization, one must fall and dune 2 probably once or twice a year.

The way I look at it; If I was 'forced' to choose only one... then of course I would choose gameplay. Gameplay is what makes a game... a game (vs staring at a piece of art (i.e. 'pure' graphics)). That being said it would be rare to find a game (nowadays) that has virtually no graphics and have gameplay intriguing enough to compensate for the lack of graphics.

If i have to choose it has to be Gameplay but i always try to get the best looking Game running, so looks are important.

I choosed Gameplay .. why? Only good graphics dont manke a good game ... I prefer a good story, flexibel and good KI .

I'm all about the gameplay.

So long as graphics aren't distractingly bad or draw me out of the experience, they come in second place in importance

Nowadays almost every game has good graphics.. but gameplay makes a game good.

I have been playing games for over a decade as much as I like the graphics on triple A games Indies games have taken over my collection because they're not as cliched and have much more interesting gameplay mechanics
