Gameplay Mostly but graphics are nice to
IMHO in these days games without good/excellent graphics won't make it to the reviews/magazines. But I still prefer some good gameplay over graphics.
Gameplay is more likely :D
Graphics :D
I think you need a combination of both to create an outstanding game. If a game is seriously lacking in gameplay or graphics than the game cannot be more than good for me.
Gameplay ofc.
graphics or gameplay? the sound and story for me is very important...an example is The Walking Dead Game, Gameplay is point and click and decent, graphics not so good...but the sound and story are fenomenal...trust me
Gameplay and story is important for me if they are good, I don't look the graphics.
I think for Singleplayer graphics really matters. But when it comes to multiplayer sometimes even the lightnings can be annoying :S I think must and the best thing is capability of wider and bigger resolution.I much like wider UIs so :D
Both of course, I'm not a gamer anymore, I just play CS 1.6 respawn servers from time to time, but when I played games back in high school the story of the game and the gameplay were the things that helped deciding if it's worth playing the game or not.
Game with good graphics might have good gameplay butthe game with poor gameplay there is a good chance it will have poor graphics
I would prefer gameplay
I mean the gameplay matters too, a game without some great gameplay sucks but still seeing the physx and all the effects the game can bring is sick.
is difficilt to decide but i think that in a real survival situation where life depends on video game it will be much esier
In my opinion graphics. For example, take a game like Rage... It has beautiful graphics yet mediocre gameplay. I just can't get enough of the fluid visuals.
Gameplay is important too, but I dont think so I could play a game with bad Graphics..
i'd say graphics for single player and gameplay for multiplayer.
There is a point where the graphics archieve a decent level and only gameplay should be improved
I think anyone that lived in the age of 1980s as a child would say GamePlay. We're coming from the days where we played Kick Off and Sensible Soccer in Amiga 500. However that atmoshpere in the old games with nice gameplay&stories are much valuable to me. Is not that the reason there are still atari saloons in game centers? People love the gameplays instead of the graphics.. This is just my humble opinion :)
Wolfie
Gameplay is most important, because a sick eye candy game still ends up being unplayable if it sucks after 10 minutes. But it's definitely a plus to have it.
People still play the original Zelda game from 25+ years ago!
I'd prefer a game with good gameplay and meh graphics any day of the week :)
always always gameplay. Then graphic
Is better a good gameplay, but graphics atract a lot of attention to the game.
Gameplay but you could chuck story in there as well for some game types. Like take the witcher 2, gameplay (fighting bits) where actually a bit poop but it has great graphics and a pretty good story.
crysis 2 and 3 have the best graphic ever
but the really suck in gamplay
This topic is totally misleaded it's not about graphic at all if you want graphic watch sci-fi movies
it's all about story / game-play however having good graphic is a bonus
so what kind of game you are into?
If you are going to massively multiplayer online games then Game play for sure however having a good graphic is a bonus
however offline/multiplayer it's all about the story and the game-play however having a good graphic is a bonus
Gameplay from quality
Super Mario Bros, Capcom vs Street Fighter 2 Alpha, Megaman 8, Metroid Prime, Golden Eye 007, Perfect Dark, Legend of Zelda, and Shenmue all prove that gameplay is king. That is why there are people who still play retro arcade games. That said graphics are always icing on the cake. Gameplay will always be King.
Gameplay
With the current technology it should not be a problem to have both. I mean if we only had an NES today I would understand the limitation on gameplay and graphics but we have some pretty powerful hardware, especially with the next generation of consoles coming in.
i think gameplay is important for the real gamer
Gameplay :ridinghorse:
I would care more for gameplay mechanics than Graphics.
Kind of depends on what type of game it is. But since I'm a huge fan of those jRPGs.. I have to go with gameplay/story. Blowing the budget on badass graphics won't save a sloppy story, not in a million years.
Gameplay is very nice.
I would have to say a bit of both
i'd say both
but i'll put some more weight on gameplay.
if i look back to the games i did 10~20 years ago fancy graphics are only an option.
gameplay!!! yoho!! and great physics too :)
Definitely gameplay. Although i agree with some points made in this thread, it should not be difficult to have the two with the current gen consoles and the new approaching gen.
