Rockstar Games confirms that it's going to launch the long awaited Ill-Gotten Gains update for Grand Theft Auto 5's GTA Online multiplayere across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms on Wednesday, June 10. Afterwards, a special weekend event is going to debut between June 12 and 14.

Grand Theft Auto 5 has received a huge amount of updates ever since its initial debut on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September of 2013. The patches didn't stop when GTA 5 appeared on PS4, Xbox One, or PC.

After bringing forth online heists in March, Rockstar is now going to launch the Ill-Gotten Gains update for GTA 5's GTA Online multiplayer mode, which brings a wide array of new in-game items to buy with virtual currency.

As we saw earlier this week, the update includes new cars, clothes, weapons, and much more.

Now, Rockstar confirms on its newswire that the Ill-Gotten Gains update part one will debut on Wednesday, June 10 across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms.

Shortly afterwards, between June 12 and June 14, a special Social Club Event Weekend is going to take place, with bonus RP, GTA$ and more surprises for players.

The second part of the Ill-Gotten Gains update is set to debut later this summer for GTA 5.
