The Division 2 players will have a while to wait still to play the game's first raid, it appears.

Those looking to embark on their first raids in The Division 2 are going to have to wait a bit longer.

The Division 2 already received its biggest content update thus far, and was expecting to receive its first raid dropped into the game on April 25, but that date has been pushed back.

Developer Massive Entertainment has delayed the update's release with the raid included until May, according to an official post via the Ubisoft blog. The decision was made to make sure that the Operation Dark Hours raid and the update could be released in as polished of a state as possible, all in the name of making fans happy – aww, how considerate!

“In order to fine-tune the balance of our game and to ensure the best possible player experience for everyone, we have decided to move the release of Title Update 3,” said Massive. The developer also announced that as of April 17, all players who use The Division 2 on PC will be able to jump into the games' Public Test Server (PTS). This will be a testing ground for Massive to deploy future updates to the game in the hopes of obtaining player feedback on new content launched in the future – as well as offer the opportunity for some stability testing.

Both Title Update 3 and the raid will skip the Test Server so the community will all be able to see how the raid plays at the same time. Massive hasn't divulged whether this will be how the future updates will work out, but it's possible future raids and content will be on the PTS.

For now, there's no concrete release date for when the raid will release in May, but we'll keep you posted as to when it finally drops.
