Devolver Digital's Downwell is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, PlayStation Japan announced today.

The company revealed its console-debut in a video that highlighted indies that'll be released in Japan, featuring games like Unravel, Goat Simulator, and No Man's Sky.

According to the PlayStation Japan website, Downwell will be available on both consoles in 2016. An official Western release hasn't been confirmed, though Devolver Digital hinted at the possibility on Twitter in late November.

Created by Japanese game developer Ojiro Fumoto, Downwell is a vertical shooter that released on iOS and PC in October 2015, and made its Android debut last month. Its publisher, Devolver Digital, is behind a few other noteworthy games, like Hotline Miami and The Talos Principle.
