With Cyberpunk 2077 slowly creeping up on the release schedule, fans are beginning to ramp up their creations to help keep their excitement levels high, leading to one of the best Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay efforts ever in the form of an incredible Samurai jacket that took around 400 hours to make. Cyberpunk 2077 is CD Projekt Red's latest massive open-world RPG, and will have lofty expectations associated with it thanks to the studio's previous effort, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, being praised as one of the best modern RPGs ever created.

While Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the future, a lot of its advertising and crossovers have been firmly rooted in the present. The game received a huge influx in interest when Keanu Reeves was first revealed to be a major character within the game, and has also seen video game celebrities like Death Stranding's Hideo Kojima join in on the excitement by riding a prop motorcycle from the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. While the game hasn't been without its share of controversy - many fans are still concerned, both in terms of the title's tone and with early Cyberpunk 2077 hands-on impressions - it's still considered to be one of the biggest releases this console generation, which is fitting, since it's likely to be one of the last before the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 truly arrive on the scene.

One thing that fans have been particularly high on is the game's aesthetic, however, as evidenced by some of the truly impressive Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay that has emerged before its release. One fan took their project to Reddit upon completion, and /u/AndyValentine's Cyberpunk 2077 Samurai jacket cosplay creation is easily the best iteration someone has put together for CD Projekt Red's title yet. That's especially important because AndyValentine revealed that the Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay jacket took around 400 hours of work to complete, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

It's not hard to see why the Cyberpunk 2077 Samurai jacket took so long - it's nailed every detail fans have seen in art so far, right down to the LED lighting lining the jacket's collar. The process wasn't just time intensive, either, as in a response to a comment in the Reddit post, AndyValentine estimated that anyone looking to put the jacket together themselves would have to also shell out over $2,500 USD to do so.

While the Cyberpunk 2077 Samurai cosplay jacket isn't going to be mass produced any time soon as a result, that doesn't make it any less gorgeous. The fact that it may remain the only one of its kind in the future, too, should keep fans discussing it - until, as is often the way with a fan base that's passionate and talented to match, someone one-ups this Samurai jacket with something else. We'll keep holding out until someone is able to create a miniature Keanu Reeves hologram as part of their Cyberpunk 2077 ensemble, but until that moment, AndyValentine's beautiful creation seems tough to top.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release on November 19, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. A PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release is also planned at a future date.
