Club Nintendo of America members won’t be able to order any physical-based rewards until May 13th, as just announced on the official Club Nintendo rewards webpage. But not all is lost. While fans may not be able to spend any of their hard-earned Club Nintendo Coins on a selection of items, Nintendo has increased their offering of digital game downloads.

Upon landing of the main rewards page, visitors are greeted with a yellow-highlighted message at the top of the page that says, “Orders for physical rewards are currently closed while we update our systems. But there’s good news: We’ll be accepting orders again starting May 13. We’ve also got great digital games that you can download instantly, so check ‘em out.”

Current games that can be redeemed for Coins include:

  • Grill-Off with Ultra Hand! (80 Coins)
  • Aura-Aura Climber (100 Coins)
  • Kirby’s Pinball Land (150 Coins)
  • Trajectile (200 Coins)
  • Super Mario World (200 Coins)
  • Balloon Fight (200 Coins)
  • F-Zero X (200 Coins)
  • Art Academy: First Semester (200 Coins)
  • Mario Golf (250 Coins)

At this time, it’s unknown what will come out of this on May 13th, when Nintendo finishes updating their systems. Fans may receive new rewards, or they may not. Given the lack of fun and interesting Club Nintendo rewards as of late, new redeemable catalog items would be a welcome and refreshing change. Thanks, GoNintendo.
