There's been a lot said about the quality and reception of Solo, the first character-specific prequel movie in Disney's Star Wars set, but EA isn't delaying plans to include Alden Ehrenreich's Solo and Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian as heroes in Battlefront II.

A new update coming on June 12 centers around Solo-related content. A new multiplayer map, Kessel, is the origin of the famous bragging point that is Han's Kessel run. The map supports a number of modes, including Blast, Hero Showdown, Heroes vs. Villains, and the asymmetric Extraction mode where teams compete to steal loot and return it to their base.

Lando's version of the Millennium Falcon before he lost it to Han is also being added. The ship is faster and more maneuverable, but lacks the punch born of Han's modifications.

DICE has already been celebrating the Harrison Ford days of Han Solo by bringing back Jabba's Palace from the first game and adding the skif guard costume Lando wore during the breakout in Return of the Jedi. It is likely EA will detail their next plans for Battlefront II during their EA Play conference Saturday, June 9 – 11:00 a.m. PT.
