Indivisible, an action-RPG developed by the same minds that created Skullgirls, got a new beta demo. The demo comes as a free update on Xbox One, PS4, and PC for players who backed Indivisible's Indiegogo campaign. A new E3 trailer for Indivisible accompanied the demo announcement.

Created by Lab Zero Games, Indivisible puts players in control of Ajna, a rebellious tomboy. She sets out on a quest to avenge her destroyed village, and discovers she has the ability to absorb other individuals into her being. This allows her to utilize the attributes of other people and quickly call upon allies in combat. While roaming, Indivisible plays like a beat-'em-up platformer. In certain combat instances, the game transforms into a turn-based RPG.

The new demo showcases Indivisible's improved battle mechanics, while offering players new enemies to fight, quests to complete, and characters to play as. Of the recent battle mechanics added to the game, the most notable come through in the newly-created boss battle with Pindayar. Pindayar, a giant spider, is one of Indivisible's "hybrid bosses" that force the player to constantly switch between two different playstyles: strategic fights and hack-and-slash platforming.

The three new characters released in the demo are Nuna, a plant-summoner; Latigo, a gunslinger; and Baozhai, a pirate queen. All three characters can be seen in Indivisible's new trailer, aiding Ajna in battle as she travels to seven of the game's diverse locations. The trailer also reveals some of the new combat animations, enemies, and bosses.

Indivisible is set to launch in 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Be on the lookout for our E3 coverage of the game.
