We’ve already seen a pair of trailers for The Wedding Ringer - a new comedy starring Kevin Hart (Think Like a Man) and Josh Gad (Frozen) about a rental service offering best mans for grooms-to-be who are without one for their big day - but as with any R-rated comedy, there’s now a red-band trailer with all the F-bombs and dirty language you could ask for.

Give it a watch it above – though we suggest using headphones if you’re around sensitive company.

The Wedding Ringer is the debut feature for director Jeremy Garelick, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jay Lavender (The Break-Up). And while the polish of features from first-time directors can vary, it’s a safe bet that The Wedding Ringer‘s success will rely more so on Hart and Gad’s rapport than anything else.

Judging by previous trailers and this latest restricted trailer, that doesn’t appear to be a problem, as Hart and Gad appear to play well off one another as the coolest best man money can buy, Jimmy, and the awkward, out of luck groom, Doug.

Though, whether that’ll be enough to set this film apart from the dozens of other wedding-based comedies waits to be seen. And sadly, its January release date – typically seen as the month where movies are sent to die – doesn’t speak all too well of the studios’ confidence in the picture.

Still, Hart has been steadily building an audience through his stand-up and well-received BET series, Real Husbands of Hollywood - which he co-created with Chris Spencer. Gad, too, gave a stand-out performance as the snowman, Olaf in last year’s Frozen, and after a string of supporting roles The Wedding Ringer could be a real breakout film for him.

The Wedding Ringer also stars The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco-Sweetling as Doug’s bride-to-be, as well as Alan Ritchson (TMNT), Olivia Thirlby (Dredd), Cloris Leachman (Raising Hope), Affion Crockett (Haunted House 2), Cory Holcomb (Black Jesus) and comedienne Whitney Cummings.
