Multiple versions of Adam Driver star in a bizarre Super Bowl ad for Squarespace. In the past decade, the two-time Oscar-nominated star has emerged as one of the best actors in Hollywood, leading a successful career both before and after his portrayal of Kylo Ren in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Driver has already received the honor of starring in a Snickers Super Bowl commercial in 2017, which was actually shot and aired live. Although not a Super Bowl ad, Driver also recently took the internet by storm when he transformed into a centaur for a Burberry cologne campaign.

Now, Driver will be returning to the Super Bowl's airwaves in a Squarespace ad, and based on a new teaser, it appears to be another doozy.

Presented as a mockumentary about the making of the commercial, the short teaser sees multiple versions of Driver walking around the set and answering questions about what it's like acting opposite Adam Driver. Watch the peculiar commercial above.

Why Adam Driver Is One Of The Greatest Living Actors

Not just this new Squarespace ad, but also in the past decade, Driver has proven himself to be one of the greatest living actors with his chameleon-like range. A graduate of Julliard, Driver rose to prominence for his role on HBO's Girls, which required both comedic and dramatic performances from him, and was recognized for it with three consecutive Emmy nominations. Driver kickstarted his film career by collaborating with acclaimed auteurs like Steven Spielberg (Lincoln), Noah Baumbach (Frances Ha), and the Coen Brothers (Inside Llewyn Davis), allowing him to hone his craft under some profound direction.

Not long after, Driver's popularity exploded for his stone-cold portrayal of villain turned anti-hero Kylo Ren in a galaxy far, far away. While starring in the Star Wars sequel trilogy from 2015 to 2019, Driver continued collaborating with some of Hollywood's leading auteurs. He portrayed an eclectic range of characters in projects such as Jim Jarmusch's quiet and contemplative drama Paterson, Martin Scorsese's religious epic Silence, and Steven Soderbergh's heist comedy Logan Lucky. Driver would eventually receive one of the most prestigious recognitions, an Academy Award nomination, for his performances in Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman and Baumbach's Marriage Story. With two Oscar nominations, four Emmy nods, and even a Tony nomination under his belt, Driver is one of the few performers nominated for the Triple Crown of Acting.

Every Upcoming Adam Driver Movie

With multiple projects on the way, 2023 is slated to be another busy year for Driver. First, he will star in 65, a sci-fi thriller releasing in theaters on March 17 that will see him fighting an array of prehistoric creatures, including dinosaurs. For his next two roles, Driver will continue collaborating with legendary filmmakers in Michael Mann for Ferrari, in which plays the titular Italian entrepreneur, and Francis Ford Coppola for Megalopolis, an incredibly ambitious project described as an epic story of political ambition, genius, and conflicted love. Driver can also be seen in the full Squarespace spot airing during Super Bowl LVII on February 12.
