Hey, if Agent Smith can do it for GE, why can’t Morpheus for KIA? Check out Laurence Fishburne reprising his Morpheus character from the “Matrix” movies in a new commercial for car company KIA. I’ve never driven in a KIA before. I’m kind of scared to drive a KIA, to be perfectly honest with you. They always look so small and frail. But hey, if it’s good enough for Perry White, er, I mean, Morpheus…

Here’s the plot of the commercial (because obviously commercials have plots now):

An unsuspecting couple meets Morpheus at a valet stand. He presents them with two choices: a red key or a blue key. Should they choose wisely, they’ll never look at luxury—or Kia—the same again.

I’m guessing the commercial that will show up on Super Bowl Sunday won’t be nearly this long, given that each second costs advertisers what, a billion dollars? Something like that.

And oh, look, it’s the commercial FOR the commercial:

Bonus: here’s Morpheus’ arch nemesis Agent Smith shilling for GE 9 months ago:

What’s next, Keanu Reeves for Taco Bell? Whoa.
