Jessica Chastain teased a passing of the torch — or, in this case, a red balloon — in a new promotional image for It: Chapter Two released Wednesday.

The actress, who joins the sequel as the grownup counterpart to the original film’s Beverly Marsh (played by Sophia Lillis), shared the first glimpse of her character on her Twitter. In the image, Chastain and Lillis are seen wearing blue dresses while sitting across from each other. Lillis reaches over the table to offer a red balloon, a trademark accessory for the film's villain Pennywise, to Chastain.

The new image is not the first time Chastain has teased her upcoming role in New Line’s adaptation of Stephen King’s novel. Amid the first day of filming in June, the actress shared a split image on her Instagram morphing her portrait alongside Lillis with the caption “DAY 1.”

Chastain has been linked to the second installment since the original 2017 film was released. She was originally slated to appear in a post-credit sequence for It, but the scene was ultimately scrapped.

Chastain joins an ensemble that includes Bill Hader taking on the role of Richie, James Ransone as Eddie, James McAvoy as Bill, Andy Bean as Stanley, Jay Ryan as Ben and Isaih Mustafa as Mike. Bill Skarsgård will return as Pennywise the clown.

It: Chapter Two is set to hit theaters Sept. 6, 2019.
