The night's winners included 'Black Panther,' 'A Star Is Born' and 'Mary Queen of Scots.'


Black Panther, A Star Is Born and Mary Queen of Scots took home wins at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards on Wednesday.


The HMMA, which took place this year at the Avalon Hollywood, recognizes music in visual media, encompassing film, TV, video games, commercials and trailers.


Mary Queen of Scots, starring Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie, won best original score for a feature film, competing against First Man and BlacKkKlansman, among others. Black Panther won best original score for a sci-fi/fantasy/horror film, as well as best original song for "All The Stars" and best soundtrack album.


A Star Is Born clinched wins in best original song for a feature film for "Shallow" and outstanding music supervision in film.


In the television show and limited series categories, HBO's Succession won for best original score and Netflix's The Innocents won best original song for "The Innocents."
