The Good Wife's Kalinda is making her way toward the exit.

Archie Panjabi, who's appeared on the CBS drama since its 2009 debut and won an Emmy for the role, will depart the series when her contract is up at the end of Season 6, says The Hollywood Reporter. CBS didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Panjabi has inked a development deal with 20th Century Fox Television, under which she'll star in a drama pilot next spring. The actress will be the second regular cast member to leave The Good Wife in as many years; she follows Josh Charles whose character Will Gardner was shockingly killed in a courtroom shooting toward the end of Season 5.

"Archie is an amazing actress who helped build Kalinda from the ground up as an enigmatic, powerful and sexy character," Good Wife showrunners Robert and Michelle King told THR. "It's been a pleasure to write for her, and we'll be sad to see her go, but we still have her for the rest of Season 6, so let's not exhaust our goodbyes yet. We look forward to meeting all the wonderful new characters Archie brings to the screen. But either way, we're keeping the boots."
