BRADLEY Walsh is to get his own prime time chat show after his success with quiz hit The Chase.

The big-earning Doctor Who star will host It’s Showtime which will feature celeb guests, studio games and live music.

A pilot will be filmed next month and there are plans for a full run on ITV early next year.

A source said: “Bradley has well and truly cemented himself as a staple star on ITV. Producers thought that it was about time he got his own chat show.

“It will be pretty similar to The Jonathan Ross Show with some games and live performances thrown in. It’s early days but if it goes down well it could be in the running to replace Saturday Night Takeaway as ITV’s top entertainment show.”

It’s Showtime will be made by Hungry Bear Media which produces BBC hits Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and All Round to Mrs Brown’s.

It is the latest telly gig for Bradley, 58, and comes after the Beeb made him a companion to Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor Who alongside Tosin Cole, 26, and Mandip Gill, 30.

Bradley is one of Britain’s top TV earners on nearly £5million a year. Only Takeaway hosts Ant and Dec — each on £7million — make more.

The X Factor’s Dermot O’Leary and Match of the Day’s Gary Lineker are on £3million.
