ANNE Hergerty threatened to quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! just hours after entering the jungle.

The Chase star was seen breaking down in tears after her team lost the lake race, meaning that they were forced to set up camp in the less luxurious Snake Rock while the other celebs got to make themselves at home in Croc Creek.

The Red Team beat the Yellow Team in the final task of the day in tonight's launch episode of the ITV reality show.

After a long day of various challenges, Anne got tearful as she told her campmates: "I'm really close to saying I can't do this."

The 60-year-old star was comforted by her team, with Inbetweeners' actress Emily Atack later explaining: "Anne got a bit upset so we gave her a cuddle.

"It’s overwhelming. I think she was just expressing how we were all feeling, we just didn’t want to admit it!"

Former X Factor winner Fleur East added: "I feel like we all have to be there for her and the minute that we all rallied around her, she just felt so much better."

And the support from her fellow celebs obviously made all the difference, with Anne later admitting in the Bush Telegraph: "They're absolutely brilliant, they're a fantastic bunch - I like them, they're my team."

Earlier in the episode, The Vamps star James McVey attempted to make light of Snake Rock's basic living conditions, joking with Anne as he quipped: "Madame, would you like me to escort your suitcase to your bedroom?" upon their arrival.

However, some of the other celebs were less jovial about their camp, with Emily confessing that she had a moment of "slight panic" when she saw that the beds are on the floor.

Former EastEnders' actress Rita Simons also admitted that she was struggling with the insects crawling on her in the jungle, adding: "Camp is beyond basic. It kind of all hits home the minute you walk in."

As well as the worse camp site, the Yellow Team only had basic rations of rice and beans for dinner whereas the winning celebs, John Barrowman, Harry Redknapp, Sair Khan, Nick Knowles, and Malique Thompson-Dwyer, were provided with an evening meal.

The Red team are also immune from the first two Bushtucker Trials - meaning that things are only going to get worse for the campmates at Snake Rock.

Meanwhile, Declan Donnelly's new I'm A Celeb co-host, Holly Willoughby, went down well with fans as she made her debut on the show this evening.

Earlier today Holly revealed the first look at the I'm A Celebrity camp ahead of the launch show.

She shared the behind-the-scenes snaps with Dec.

Dec, 43, also posted the pictures online and told his followers: "Showing the new girl around camp!

"Not hanging around though, got some new camp mates ready to move in."

Holly beamed for the camera as she posed with the Geordie star by the camp fire.

The 37-year-old wrote next to her pictures: "Welcome to the jungle!

"Had a little tour around camp... mind blown! Need to get a wriggle on we’ve got new camp mates to move in!"

Holly is standing in for Ant McPartlin on this year’s series after he took an extended break from the spotlight.

But while she jumped at the chance to work on the show with Dec, Holly hasn’t been having the best time with some of the critters.

Yesterday she narrowly avoided two deadly snakes on her first day filming in the jungle.

And jungle medic Bob told The Sun that the mum-of-three is "more terrified of jungle critters than all the stars".

He explained: "All I have to do is talk to her and look at the floor and she goes: 'What’s on the floor?'

"'What are you looking at the floor for?' When they do the trials I think they need a camera just on Holly because she’ll be squirming."

Bushtucker Trials chief Matt Wilkinson also said that he saw Holly jump out of her skin when she saw a leaf on her leg.
