Is it me or does Spider-Man’s new costume kind of looks cheap? It’s not the same one from the first movie, right? Because it looks different. Anyways, check out 7 exciting new images from Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” I’ll admit, I liked the first movie, but it didn’t blow me away. I’m still not entirely sold on the whole “untold story” aspect of the character, but I guess that’s what they’re going with, not just this second outing, but the upcoming next two ones as well.

Which begs the question: if Spidey’s already fighting three villains in his second movie, how many is he fighting in his third, then fourth? Will we see Spidey taking on double digit villainy eventually???

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Colm Feore, with Paul Giamatti and Sally Field.

Spidey saves us this May 2, 2014.
