Spectre, the 24th film in Sony’s popular James Bond franchise, is already poised to be a huge success, especially since the last movie in the series – Skyfall – made over a billion dollars at the box office. It’s a good thing, too, because the studio will need all the extra cash they can get to cover the latest entry’s reportedly more than $300 million budget.

Stars Daniel Craig and Monica Bellucci were in Italy today, preparing to film a big chase sequence starting on March 8th. , the duo met with Ignazio Marino, the Mayor of Rome, to talk about the production’s plan to shoot on the capital city’s streets for five weeks.

The sequence will primarily take place on Via Nomentana, between Viale Gorizia and Porta Pia, where from 9pm to 6am, traffic will be blocked to ensure the safety of everyone for night shoots. And another chase sequence on Lungotevere will reportedly end with Bond’s car falling into the river, just as he’s rescued by a helicopter.

t’s easy to see how Spectre could end up being the most expensive Bond film ever made. Craig was recently spotted filming in London at Pinewood Studios, as well as some time in snowy Austria. With production now moving to Rome and then next to Mexico City and Morocco, the film has truly gone global.

The news about the project moving to Rome also comes on the heels of reports saying second unit assistant director Terry Madden fractured his leg recently in a filming accident. It’s just the latest setback after Craig also hurt his knee just last week during a fight scene in London. There’s only nine months left until the movie releases, and $300 million dollars at stake, so hopefully there won’t be anymore accidents as these extensive chase sequences commence.

Spectre hits theaters November 6th, 2015.
