Over the past 2 years and 4 months we have gone by the name of Transmithe.net (TtN).
Staff has felt for some time that an alternative name may suit us better and to this end we have chosen two new names:
Abducted.io
Nebulance.io

We'd like to give you, our users, the opportunity to guide the fate of our site and so have opened a poll for you to vote for your favourite.

This is a new day, a new beginning...

Someone should explain to these tracker sysops what "branding" means. Imagine if Coca Cola decides tomorrow to change name to Masonos Cola. Even if the consumers vote for the new name, it still loses its brand value.

as much as i can see the valid side to your "rant" i could present an argument where rebranding doesnt = loss of value. it really depands how its done and how its impacts the user/customer base. loyalty to something can also make a huge difference.
