There is no delicate way to put this...

We need your help.

We hate to ask, we really do, and in a perfect world we would be able to provide TVChaosUK as a completely free service. However, we do have fairly substantial server bills to pay, and we are really struggling to meet them each month.
With the pandemic situation hitting people hard, donations are at an all time low, and the staff (who already give their time for free) are once again having to make up the shortfall.

We understand that for many it is simply not an option to help out, but for those who are able to, even a small amount would make a difference, and would be very much appreciated.
In addition to the site-wide freeleech that all VIP members receive for the duration of their donation period, all donations made between now and the 5th of January will receive double bonus points as a small thank you.

In other news:
As we no longer have the option of a shoutbox on the site, we have been working on an alternate solution, which will be to have a TVChaosUK discord channel available for those members who like to chat. We hope to have this up and running for you soon.

In the run up to the festive season we will be bringing you lots of treats and surprises as usual. Unfortunately, with this site, we are unable to run our yearly banner competition, but we are discussing other ideas...watch this space!

New Chat Room Now Open!

Hello!

Firstly, I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who responded to our server fund appeal. Without your continued support we literally would not have a site, so your help is very much appreciated!

Now for today's big news:

As stated in the recent message, we have been working on a way to organise a Discord channel to replace our previous Shoutbox, which sadly we can no longer display on the home page.

As you can imagine, the logistics of adding several thousand members into a Discord server are daunting, as each person needs to be added manually. Everyone who wishes to join will be able to do so, but it will take time to add you all (so please be patient).

Invitations to the server will be posted each day in the Announcements forum. These invites are only valid for the first 100 users, so if you are initially not successful please just wait for a new one to be posted. New invites will be marked as such, with time and date of issue (so that you don't keep trying the same one over and over!).

If you have never used Discord it is simple. There are desktop/phone apps for regular users, but the easiest way is just to access it via your browser and bookmark the page.

VIP members, cappers, and uploaders who wish to join are welcome to send me a PM to request an individual invitation (and avoid the queue).

It should be noted that, although in times of trouble the channel will be a useful alternative to Facebook for updates and information, it is otherwise specifically for chat. All account and torrent issues should still be addressed to the staff on site, or in the forums.
