About 21 Million Torrents Indexed

Torrentus is since two years online. We started with our first torrent in 2012 when we were known under the name „Tornado“. Today we reached a new milestone - we indexed more than 20 million torrents from about 50 torrent sites.

The most indexed sites are Bitsnoop with 7 012 443, Kickass with 6 427 751, Monova with 6 330 742, TorrentFunk with 5 348 003 and TorrentProject with 4 559 098 torrents.

We use a non-classical database structure to be able to handle such amount of data. All information will be stored in nodes and not on a database server. In this way we are not limited and can index as much content as needed.
