Coming Changes to Free Leech on TheGeeks:

Free Leech on TheGeeks is about to undergo some significant changes.

The updates are intended to help make Free Leech fairer to users in general and to encourage members to be more active on the site - downloading content, using their accumulated ratio, and keeping content alive by seeding on a long term basis.

Here are the details:

We have recruited a few eVIP class members who are well known to ex-TheBox & TheEmpire members to provide NEW decent quality content, on a VERY reliable basis. They will have the power to make their own torrents free or neutral.

FREE content:

eVIP will be able to add:
-- Selected WeekDay news/current-affairs shows
-- 1st Episode of a new documentary/e-learning content

HOWEVER THE FREE STATUS WILL ONLY BE FOR 3 DAYS

NEUTRAL content:

-- A Twice WEEKLY FLOTW - FREELEECH OF THE WEEK
(Please remember that NEUTRAL is free leech too; you just don't get upload credit for seeding while it's NEUTRAL.)

HOWEVER THE NEUTRALITY WILL ALSO ONLY BE FOR 3 DAYS

Then any continued seeding AFTER NEUTRAL status is removed, is obviously yours.
(This is designed to stimulate long term seeding rather than a short term gain.)

-- All Sports Highlight/Event shows to be NEUTRAL

Anyone is welcome to download the FREE or NEUTRAL status torrents.

However, anyone persistently abusing & dominating swarms on FREE torrents (regardless if they're on a fibre optic line, seedbox, or directly connected to the Internet backbone) will have their download rights removed & re-educated, and could get a warning in severe cases ( i.e. the 0.001% of members who think the rules of fairness don't apply to them).

FLOTW Neutral freeleeches will be twice a week, capped at 4 GB MAX (twice a week) - so you can get up to 8gb freeleech content a week... for nothing... you only get ratio when you start seeding it and after NEUTRAL status is removed. Seeding is down to you.

FREE torrents are only free for 3 days, then they revert to normal torrents. again down to you to seed - long & short term.
