For some time now the Inactivity script has been turned off. As of today it's back on. You have been warned!

For those of you who haven't brushed up on the rules lately now might be an opportune time

It also seems a good time to remind users of the seeder surge facility. It is NOT the same as freeleech and has never been so. It is very easy to get caught out by erratic seeders coming and going on a particular torrent. Especially as the tracker does not update in real time. So the answer is USE WITH CAUTION.

Does anyone know what exactly those rules are?

o'course there's different meanings to what "inactive" really means. Some think simply logging in is being active. Some think snatching every once in a while is active. Then some think "all of the above" plus forum posts are the defining factor. Then the craziest shit is a hard number of GB to download.

Whatever it is, as far as TehConnection is concerned, if you like the site but don't use it very often, at least snatch one torrent every month is my advice.

I believe they're only referring to logging in. Most of the trackers do this. It's a nice tracker imo and the atmosphere is really chilled.
