TeamOS and use of mobile devices for torrenting

Before we begin, I would like to make clear that we are talking about
using a mobile device (phone/tablet) for torrenting/seeding and not for browsing the site.

We noticed over a period of time, that we get some complaints about torrents not showing as seeding, even tho they are reported as seeded, wrong seed times, wrong seedbonus points, etc.
After a brief investigation, we also noticed a pattern, that most complaints originate from users who use phone/android devices, mobile torrent clients, and/or mobile networks for seeding.

Sadly in such cases, when users use a mobile device to torrent
we can not and will not offer any support.

We strongly suggest (but do not forbid) not using mobile phones/tablets to seed, because very often they can cause problems with proper seeding.
If you choose to use a mobile device and client for seeding, you do it at your own risk.

The possible issues can be
----------------------------------
🟠 Seed torrents, but those don't show as seeding
🟠 Wrong or no seed bonus points awarded
🟠 Wrong seed time reported
🟠 Wrong number of uploaded data reported

We will not be able to help you or correct the issue.

That being said, of course, you can choose to use a mobile device to seed, but don't blame us if things go wrong with your account stats.

The reasons for the above can be many and will require a small essay, in order to explain
networks and the internet, wireless technology and 4g/5g,
how Android handles torrents and persistent connections, and power modes, as well as mobile torrent client issues.
To make things worse, the problems can be semi-random and depend on lots of factors which makes them time-consuming and difficult to solve.

Please understand that although we would like to help, the problem doesn't originate from us (most of the time at least) and we can not know
every single country's provider, signal strength at your location, the mobile plan used, the device that each member uses,
and mobile torrent client settings as well as device settings,
and so we can't really offer any advice other than, if you have issues don't use a mobile device to torrent.

The thread will remain open for questions (hope not technical ones) or suggestions,
but please don't start asking if you can use this or that device/brand or this or that carrier and so on.
The answer will always be the same... use at your own risk.

Thank you for your time reading this and your understanding.
