For almost 6 years now, I have been coming to our site every day for communication, for a good movie, or to upload a new release. And this has long outgrown the scope of work or hobby, I come and live here every day. The days are different, good and not so good, and the people I meet on the site every day are also different, with a good mood and not so much. And yet I return. I share my joys and sorrows with people who over the years have become not just acquaintances, colleagues, but friends. And there are many such people, believe me. And all these people who have helped me out of difficult situations more than once are all of you, members of our community!

Several years ago, only through your efforts, we raised funds, and the Ortonica Pulse 210 electric wheelchair was purchased , without which my life was limited to only four walls. And every time I sat down in it, I said a kind word to all the participants in the gathering. But time goes by, everything changes. And some time ago it was decided to sell this stroller in favor of another. Why did it happen? An analogy with a motorist, a person buying his first car, is appropriate here. You drive it for a year or two, and then you realize that something needs to be changed, modernized, improved. This happened to me too. Over the years, I have studied the capabilities of my stroller inside and out and discovered some fundamental features that prevent me from feeling 100% comfortable in it. And given the high rate of injury, you have to put in extra effort every time you go on a trip. And I began a search that led me to the Russian company Caterwil. At the beginning of 2024, they introduced a new stroller model - Caterwil Ultra 4WD , which in all respects is superior to my old stroller and brings a lot of positive aspects to the operation process. I will list the main advantages:

1. All-wheel drive and four large wheels improve the running characteristics and maneuverability of the stroller on any surface.
2. The unique “Crab” function, which allows you to turn on the spot, also on any surface, has extremely high maneuverability not only on the street, but also in the apartment, in tight corridors, driving between furniture, etc.
3. The wheelchair is installed on a very energy-intensive suspension with progressive shock absorbers, which directly affects the ride over rough terrain and the comfort of such a ride.
4. The undoubted advantages include the compact size of the stroller, width and weight - only 85 kg. Also an important factor is an LCD control panel with a display of all parameters of the stroller (current speed, mileage, equipment temperatures, battery voltages - this is sorely lacking now).
5. The pillow and backrest have pronounced lateral support, which ensures maximum comfort and coziness even during a long stay in the chair. The back and pillow are removable. In addition, there is a headrest, and the armrests recline with a slight upward movement (nowadays you have to unscrew them every time, it’s so annoying sometimes).
6. Caterwil Ultra 4WD is also equipped with powerful LED headlights with low and high beam modes. This is definitely not in Ortonika, but it is so necessary in dark times.
7. The battery in Caterwil is a modern lithium one, the power reserve is enough for an honest 30 km, and not like in Ortonika, which still uses acid batteries that weigh 30 kg and die after six months of operation.

And these are only the most basic and important points that you immediately pay attention to. Therefore, it was decided to sell the old stroller and try to purchase a Caterwil Ultra 4WD . I offered my Ortonica Pulse 210 for 200,000 rubles (but so far there is no result). A Caterwil Ultra 4WD in its basic configuration currently costs 485,000. Over time, I will be able to assemble some of it myself, but I won’t be able to afford the entire amount... Therefore, with the permission and approval of our project managers, I posted this topic with the hope that through joint efforts , as they say, with the world at hand we could implement this project. After all, in our community there are a lot of good, sympathetic people, altruists who are always ready to support a good cause!
