Operating on the territory of the Russian Internet search engines Google, Yandex, Mail.Ru, Rambler and Sputnik forever stopped issuing requests for more than 786 sites that distribute pirated content.

The decision was taken on Thursday Moscow city court. Information appeared in the press release of Roskomnadzor.

“At the moment search service is completely stopped access to more than 786 sites involved in the proliferation of unlicensed content, which is distributed over the network infringement of intellectual property,” noted in the publication Department.

Obligation to halt the extradition of links to all mentioned resources assigned to the search engine in connection with which came into force on October 1, 2017 amendments to the Federal law “On information, technologies and protection of intellectual property”.
