Russian communications watchdog blocks 200 pirated websites with online casino ads
MOSCOW, April 18 - Russian communications agency Roskomnadzor has restricted access to 200 unauthorized websites containing illegal advertisement of online casino and bookmaker's offices, the watchdog’s statement reads.
In total, Roskomnadzor added over 250 pirated online cinemas and torrent trackers posting such advertisement to the Unified register of prohibited information. Owners of 200 Internet resources failed to comply with the agency’s requirement to remove banned information and therefore faced blocking. Other 50 website owners have still time to fulfil the demand; their deadline has not expired yet, according to the statement.
According to the watchdog, information on a considerable amount of unauthorized Internet resources with illegal advertisement has been received from individuals and companies through a hot line on the website of the Unified register of prohibited information. All reports were forwarded to the Federal Tax Service for making decisions on blocking.

Roskomnadzor blocked 200 pirate sites with advertising online casinos
MOSCOW, April 18 - RAPSI. Roskomnadzor at the request of the Federal Tax Service of Russia restricted access to 200 pirate sites, which hosted illegal advertising online casinos and bookmakers, the ministry said.
In total, in the Unified Register of Prohibited Information Roskomnadzor contributed more than 250 pirate online cinemas and torrent trackers, which hosted such advertising. Owners of 200 Internet resources did not comply with the service's request to remove prohibited information, which is why the agency restricted access to the sites. The deadline for fulfilling the requirements sent to the owners of 50 sites (as well as hosting providers), has not yet expired.
Roskomnadzor also notes that information on a significant number of pirated resources with illegal advertising was obtained from citizens and organizations through a "hot line" operating on the site of the Unified Register of Prohibited Information. All these messages were sent to the FTS for making decisions on access restrictions.
