We'd like to make a quick announcement regarding exclusive content. We as staff spend a large amount of time responding to reports of the exclusive content of other sites being uploaded, this has caused a lot of time lost for us, been used as a tool for harassment, and caused some drama on occasion. We are officially announcing that we will no longer be responding to "Takedown" requests of torrents based on other sites rules. While we respect them, we hope that other sites are able to enforce their own rules. We simply cannot spare the man hours for the legwork.
Passthepopcorn does not have exclusive content, and we are not going to make an effort to make any of our content exclusive, but we do respect the wants of other sites within our community. A few sites ask for their content, or some of their content to remain exclusive. We are asking that you respect the wishes of those sites.
uTorrent, as of version 3.4.2, has decided that it is fine to hijack users computers and install a bitcoin miner called EpicScale. Effective IMMEDIATELY uTorrent version 3.4 and on shall be blacklisted for use on this site. No future versions of uTorrent will be whitelisted until this issue has been resolved, and more importantly, independently proven to be resolved.
