Japanese Gov't ponders site blocking to stop manga piracy
The government is considering measures to cut off internet connections to websites offering free access to pirated publications such as manga and magazines, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga revealed at a March 19 news conference.
"The damage caused (by pirate sites) is worsening. We are considering all measures including site blocking" to prevent access to the sites, Suga stated. He added, "Manga and anime are important content for the Cool Japan strategy (to market Japanese pop culture overseas), and piracy is shaking the foundations of the content industry by snatching away the rightful income of their creators."

They can't stop this. It would be like finish drugs, on the contrary, it will continue growning
It would mean the closing of many trackers also xD, the content is bought once and then uploaded to sites for free, but it's understandable for creators who complain
