In recent days, vulnerabilities have been discovered in uTorrent versions.

Older versions of utorrent 2.2.1 and 2.0.4 are affected differently than versions 3.x. If you have uTorrent 2.2.1 or 2.0.4 all you have to do is disable the Web UI in the settings (if somehow it is enabled) and change the advanced "net.discoverable" setting to false. More details can be found in the customer settings topic here (2nd post).

For those who have the uTorrent 3.x version, we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version, 3.5.3 (repair vulnerabilities found, version is still beta), or downgrade to one of the older versions ( 2.2.1 or 2.0.4 ) .

When version 3.5.3 is no longer beta (or even faster if we think it is needed) we will remove all old versions of uTorrent 3.x from the whitelist. Old versions of uTorrent 2.2.1 and 2.0.4 will remain in the whitelist, but please insistently protect and make those settings.
