Amidst raging controversy surrounding the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, a Facebook user on Thursday streamed the film live on its page.

The Facebook page in question was J**** K* A***, where the the video was shared thousands of times and viewed by over four lakh people before the owner of the page deleted the video.

Another user tagged his friend to announce that he had cancelled his plan to visit the theatre to watch the movie as the page in question had already streamed the film live. This user has uploaded the 25-minute-long streamed video on his page even though the clip has now been deleted from its original page.

J**** K* A*** flaunted the media coverage on its ability to commit piracy while asking people to visit cinema halls to watch the remaining film.

Padmaavat was released in cinema halls across India on 25 January, but two BJP-governed states namely Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh did not screen the film despite the Supreme Court’s order.
