Major Maintenance

We will be performing some major maintenance on the site either today or tomorrow.
As a result, the site will be unavailable for at least several hours, or even longer if we run into problems.

Start time is still unknown, but will be announced here & on IRC in advance. IRC will remain available in case anyone gets bored. More information about our IRC can be found here.

This maintenance won't change the site in any way but lays some necessary groundwork for things to come.
