Welcome new members!

The staff welcomes our newest members and would like to take a moment to mention a couple of things that we think will help you get the most out of DigitalCore!

- We have a great team of uploaders, many of which take the time and make the effort to share a very wide variety of media. Most uploads are scene drops (Google it) and a substantial fraction of those, perhaps a third, are in compressed multi-piece archives (RARed). These aren't, of course, ready-to-watch as they need to be decompressed but this manner of releasing media has a number of handling and distribution advantages and this practice isn't going to go away in the foreseeable future.

Almost every media that you can think of is dropped by multiple groups, some of which are archived and some ready-to-watch. It's up to you to take a moment to look at the descriptions and determine which version(s) you want to download.

Which leads us to the following: everything here is free, the media release ecosystem is what it is and complaining in the forums and the torent comments about RARed releases is just going to make you look like a dick. Use the search, read the descriptions or make a request - you'll find what you want and you'll look like a champ while doing it.

- Please read the rules and the FAQs and, if you can't find the answer to any question, please reach out to the staff using the "Staff PM" button at the top of most DCC pages or visit us on IRC. Most of the staff are friendly (one of us is on the spectrum - guess which one and win valuable prizes) and we look forward to helping you.

- Please visit DCC website frequently to keep up-to-date with board announcements and to keep your membership active. You must log into DCC at least once every 90 days to keep your account open - torrent activity is not a substitute for logging into DCC!

If, by some misfortune, you find that your account has been deactivated, please use the reactivation tools on the DCC website or contact the staff on DCC. Do not create a new account - you are permitted one (1) account and creation of a duplicate will result in a permanent ban!

- Finally, becoming a member of the uploading team is by application only. Please read the rules and the FAQs regarding uploading qualifications before submitting an application.
