15 hours of site data lost to server crash

Dear DCD users,

We regret to inform you that we lost 15+ hours of site and user data due to an unexpected server crash. We had to stay up all night to bring our db server back online and restore from backup etc. We are happy to inform you that the site is now back online and stable. Once again, we are sorry. But it wasn't in our control.

We are awarding all users 300 bonus points in lieu for the points lost in those 15 seeding-hours.

Further, if you've uploaded an album yesterday, we request you to please undertake the trouble of reuploading it. If you do it within the next 24 hours [i.e. 9 AM IST Mar 25th], we will award you 200 points per album. Just re-upload and post the link here. Please do not try to scam, we have autosnatchers on this site and we will find out if you try to claim that you uploaded something yesterday when you haven't.

Please DO NOT upload an album you've snatched yesterday, let the original uploader get the chance to reupload. But please DO seed the torrents you've snatched after the original uploader re-uploads them. We will award you 50 points per album if you undertake the trouble of re-seeding. For this, you will have to download the .torrent and point it to the directory/folder where your album resides. If you have difficulty with this, please post on this thread along with the name of the client you use. Once you do re-seed, post on this thread with how links to torrents you've reseeded.
