Donations :

2022: For ABN and the servers running our site, as well as those of the Retention team (the archiving servers), 2022 has been a good year, budget entirely covered by donations. We thank you all for your generous participation.

2023: Concerning ABN and the servers running our site: even if the month of March looks good, 50% of the monthly budget already received to date, January and especially February have not been there. We remind everyone that without these donations the site cannot live or evolve.
And that our teams of trusted members transacting in BTC from your PayPal donations are ready and waiting to have some work to do! We encourage everyone who can make a small gesture, and help us end the term "positively".
- Concerning the Retention Team, the donors who give for the invoices of these servers (in addition to the ABN servers) which allow the numerous daily uploads, and the archiving of all the torrents and the reseed, the budget for the 1st quarter is closed, with a little advance for April.

Migration of servers:

At the very beginning of March, we carried out a complete migration of all the servers of the site to another host, much more stable (and only slightly cheaper). With the exception of a small detail, the badges which did not all make the migration (and which should finish their big migration before the end of this month), everything went well, we made some adjustments and tuning last weekend and all is in the green.

General moderation of the site:

1) Reseed:
- All uploads meeting the conditions (naming, mini quality, etc.) until December 29 are in the archive, and now advance by approximately 4 days per backup day. In order to catch up with the delay taken at the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, we have increased the archiving speed from 0.75GB/min to 1GB/min, which should allow us to be up to date by the end of March, early April at the latest depending on the seed of these torrents.
- Concerning the seed, we ask everyone to insist a little on the seed level on the torrents of 2023 in order to be up to date as quickly as possible in terms of torrent backup, we will keep you informed of the progress on this topic as progress is made.
- Regarding uploads fulfilling the backup conditions, we ask all uploaders to pay particular attention to the naming of your torrents, no special characters, dots between each word or tag and the order of tags imposed by the rules of uploads. All uploads that do not respect these few rules are ignored by the backup bot and are therefore not reseedable.

2) Moderation of torrents, and comments:
- Regarding torrent moderation, our team tries to do our best to keep the site "clean" as much as possible, but we can't/will never want to check each torrent individually. We are counting on you to report any problem you may notice via the "Report" function, in order to allow the moderation team to act as quickly as possible.
- Concerning the comments torrents, this zone is not a rat race on which to discuss the technical qualities of the proposed releases, there is a forum for that where everyone, member or team, is free to express themselves, or to to explain. It's also not the place for settling scores between old friends/new enemies, or for debating/taking the cabbage over the qualities of one type of encoding Vs another.
If there is a problem with the release, there is the "report" function and if serious and urgent problem there is the MP staff. For all other issues, please do not clutter the comment area unnecessarily. All comments violating these rules will now be removed by moderation.
- Little reminder to all, ABN is a so-called "generalist" site, everyone is free to offer their work there as long as they respect the minima imposed by the upload rules. As a "generalist", we do not have the vocation to check each encode, we count on the good will of the encoders and remailers to respect these minima. Not being a site specialized in HD, our criteria are what they are, we leave everyone free to offer a higher quality format if they wish, and everyone has to respect this work.
