It’s one of the senses we use on a daily basis, that can suddenly wake us up, make it possible to enjoy various artists, and grab random pieces of information. It’s the sense of hearing.

Sound is nothing more than vibrations navigating through matter. The complicated biological machine in our heads gives it meaning and thus makes it possible to refine and use it, but also to guide ourselves better. However, we can only hear a limited frequency fragment, but that doesn’t mean so does every other living organism.

It’s known that different frequencies cause different effects, be it to repel bugs or scare off frightening hounds. With this little program, you can generate sound with just a few mouse clicks.
Generating custom sound frequencies

Step 1: Download, install, and run Ultra Beeper.

Step 2: Adjust the system volume somewhere around 50% or less to avoid the strong first impact.

Step 3: Choose between the available preset beeps and hit the Play button for preview.

Step 4: Select Custom Pitch and drag the slider to set the frequency. You can also adjust the pitch during playback.

Sadly, there’s no built-in recorder or option to export audio files, but you can use third-party programs to capture sound from your computer.

Switching to the Morse tab lets you decipher Morse Code messages at a custom pace. It can even be used to learn Morse Code.

A few (useful/useless) frequencies:

Around 15 000 Hz to supposedly repel mosquitoes.

Between 20 000 - 25 000 Hz might keep dogs at a safe distance.

Censor Bleep is the Low preset, which is at 1 000 Hz.
