Social networks have successfully accomplished their tedious goal of becoming a part of our lives. Everything you think or believe, clips you watch, and your holiday pictures can be shared with others with little effort.

Needless to say that, while using a PC, you access Facebook or Twitter via a web browser. Little by little, Microsoft makes Windows more flexible, reducing or completely cutting off the dependency of other applications, in an attempt to make your whole PC experience flawless and comfortable.

The last, upcoming iteration of Windows looks promising and photo sharing directly from File Explorer or Photos app is slowly becoming reality.

First things first: Visit the Store and install Social Network Clients for services you use (i.e: Facebook, Twitter, etc.).

Sharing from File Explorer

Step 1: Go to the location where your pictures are located. Make sure they are not on the desktop.

Step 2: Double-click the Share menu item to make the panel always visible.

Step 3: Click the Share button.

Step 4: Choose the destination from the Charms bar that appears.

Step 5: Log in to confirm your identity and upload the picture.

Sharing from the Photos app

Step 1-a: Double-click a photo to open it.

Step 1-b (if Photos is not the default app): Right-click the picture and choose to Open With Photos. Be careful not to pick Windows Photo Viewer.

Step 2: Click the Share button in the upper toolbar. If the toolbar is not visible, click on the picture to enable it.

Step 3: Select the social network from the Charms bar and write down your credentials.

Bonus Hint: The Windows Photo app is also equipped with a whole bunch of different editing and enhancements you can apply to pictures before uploading them.
