DEVASTATED young classmates have paid tribute to a five-year-old boy who vanished with his mum after two bodies were found at a reservoir.

Emma Sillett, 41, and son Jenson Spellman were last seen in a McDonald's in Longdendale in Greater Manchester on Tuesday.

Police yesterday found her black Peugeot 308 at the Valehouse reservoir, near Tintwistle, in Derbyshire, close to Emma's home in Glossop.

Two bodies - believed to be those of Emma and Jenson - were recovered there yesterday afternoon after cops launched a massive search for the pair.

Devastated classmates at Simmondley Primary School in Glossop have today left tributes for little Jenson.

The school gates were covered with pictures drawn by youngsters with heartbreaking messages to the "lovely" boy.

One included a picture of a dinosaur - understood to be a favourite creature of the youngster - with the message: "To Jenson, I hope you like your dinosaur. I will miss you".

Another with a picture of a dinosaur read: "He is lovely".

Year 1 pupils have also attached a large cuddly dinosaur to the railings and a heartfelt message which read: “To the beautiful Jenson.

“We will miss your beautiful smiley face. You were such a good friend.

“Your memory will live on in us all. Go chase the dinosaurs.

“All our love, Year 1 school friends.”

Derbyshire Police confirmed yesterday they had discovered the two bodies at the man-made lake, which is less than three miles from her home in Glossop.

Police are yet to release details of how they died and a post-mortem is due to take place today.

They confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the horror.

Assistant Chief Constable Kem Mehmet said: "After a detailed search by specialist officers, it is with great sadness, that the bodies of what are believed to be Emma and Jenson were located at Valehouse Reservoir.

"At this time our enquiries are ongoing and officers will be in the area for some time to come.

"Whilst in the investigation is in its early stages we have no indication that any other person is involved in their deaths. Further enquiries are ongoing to establish the full facts of the case.

"I would like to take this opportunity to pass on my own condolences, as well as those of every officer in Derbyshire, to the family and friends of Emma and Jenson."
