US white nationalist leader Patrick Casey has posted photos of his tour of the grounds of the White House today. The Trump administration won’t say how he got there.

Patrick Casey, executive director of Identity Evropa — which describes itself as a “fraternal organisation for people of European heritage” — has distributed pictures of himself on the White House grounds last month.

“Evropa has landed at the White House!” Casey tweeted. The images, taken in October, show him standing by himself directly in front of the White House’s south front.

A White House statement insists his presence was innocent: “He was one of more than twenty-five thousand people who came to the White House Fall Garden Tour, which is open to the public. Free tickets are made available to anyone who wants to attend.”

However, several White House insiders have reportedly said he was photographed in an area not permitted to open tours.

According to The Daily Beast, three White House officials told it Casey would have had to be escorted there by a Trump administration staffer with sufficient security clearance.

Identity Evropa, whose motto is “You will not replace us”, took part in marches and protests organised by neo-Nazi’s in during a fatal clash in Charlottesville last year. It’s previous leader was charged and found guilty in relation to the event.

Casey, since taking the helm, has reportedly adopted a new tactic — one of “identitarianism”, advocating the agenda of the “white ethnic group”. He’s led an effort to recruit white, college-aged men and make them the respectable “new face of white nationalism”.

Identity Evropa has been identified as a white supremacist organisation by the Anti-Defamation League and as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

President Trump appears to have become a magnet for such far-right extremists.

Earlier this year, Trump met Lionel Lebron — a chief proponent of the “QAnon” conspiracy theory which claims top Democrats are Satanic paedophiles — for a photo opportunity.

Again, inquiries to explain how Lebron was allowed to meet Trump was initially met with a stony silence. Later, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders attempted to dismiss the visit as unplanned and unnoticed: “A large group came through the White House for a brief tour and a photo,” she wrote.
