I have to admit that after watching and reading many reviews on the Model S and Model X, I am deeply in love with these cars.
I'll try to save money to buy the Model X

model S is surely a way to future but the charging time is too much,and a leap directly from fueled cars to electric cars is a very big one i would like to own model S in future(7-8yrs) but i8 is all about today.
PS:this whole conversation is hypothetical as owning a model S or i8 is pretty much a dream for me.
so, when i say i would like to own one of these car it meant i like the IDEA of owning them

Regarding the charging time, the network of supercharger stations is growing at very fast pace http://www.teslarati.com/interactive...ercharger-map/ both in Europe, the US and even China. In just 30 minutes you can get battery for more than 170 miles and this distance will increase in the very near future.

For me the most amazing feature is the acceleration time, the torque is just instantaneous. In the gasoline engines you have to "wait" before there is a reaction and with an electric motor people say it is another feeling. For example the Model S P85 version is able to do 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds

I am anxious to test it!

Model S is a real beauty the best feature for me was that silent engine(motor)!

both are beautiful cars, however for day to day work travel the distance on one charge might be a bit too low...
Believe there is still alot to improve battery wise for such cars

The new model for 2015-2016 at 25K will be a killer!
