THE 17-year-old girl who escaped from her parents’ House of Horrors to alert the authorities to her and her 12 siblings’ plight had a secret YouTube account.

The teen uploaded multiple videos of herself on the website under a false name giving the world a glimpse into life inside the Perris, California home.

Police say the 13 siblings were starved and subjected to horrific abuse inside by their parents David and Louise Turpin.

Most of the clips were of the young girl singing her self-penned songs straight to camera but some showed other areas of the filthy home.

In one clip, released by Good Morning America (GMA), a huge pile of dirty clothes are seen in the corner of the room while dirt is seen smeared up a door.

She can be seen playing with the family’s two little dogs that investigators say were looked after much better than the kids.

The hounds were found in relatively good health in stark contrast to the malnourished children.

GMA said that the most recent video was posted just a week before she fled the home.

Her parents are in jail while they wait for the next court date on March 23 for a status proceedings hearing.

The both face life in prison if convicted of the more than 40 charges levelled against them, including torture, false imprisonment, child abuse, and abuse of a dependent adult.

David Turpin also denied one count of lewd conduct with a minor.

They have both pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain earlier today Louise Turpin’s sister Elizabeth Flores revealed the delusional mother believes she is going to be freed soon and maintains her innocence.

Elizabeth claimed her sister seemed detached from reality after she and her cousin Tricia Andreassen travelled to California to see the disgraced parents face-to-face.

Also appearing on GMB, Tricia added: “When we went and saw Louise, we walked out of there and were like “oh my gosh, what in the world are we seeing?”

The pair even questioned her mental health adding: “Is she totally insane? Or was it all David?”

When asked if the parents had any idea of the scale of the allegations against them, Elizabeth said: “I don’t think Louise does, but I think David is starting to realise.”

She went on to describe David, who is also charged with performing a lewd act on a child aged under 14, as “broken”, adding that he “sobbed until his shoulders shook” when they visited him in prison.

Cousin Tricia said however: “We don’t know if he was crying because he got caught or he’s remorseful, or it is because he’s separated from Louise, we just don’t know.”

Louise’s relatives also claimed her changing demeanour could be documented in a series of photographs taken over the course of their childhood.

Tricia said: “We were looking at pictures from our family albums and we were looking into the eyes of Louise and this is just our opinion — but we kind of noticed her eyes changing around 1981, or 1982 — if that makes any sense.”

Elizabeth added: “Louise began partying and drinking more around her 40th birthday.

“We were raised in a Christian home and didn’t drink and stuff. She was doing things that in our family we don’t do.”

David Turpin, 57, and wife Louise, 49, were arrested after the 13 siblings, aged between two and 29, were found shackled and emaciated at the family home.

The Turpin home, dubbed the “House of Horrors”, saw the kids shackled for months at a time, showering only twice a year and denied access to the toilet.

The children were fed sporadically and were emotionally tortured by being shown food but denied meals.

The parents also forced the siblings to stay awake all night and were only allowed to sleep during the day, in a suspected attempt to avoid outsiders witnessing the abuse.
