According to their laboratory analyzes, which the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry referred to, the former employee of the GRU and his daughter were poisoned not by Novikom, but by the chemical BZ, which was in service with the NATO countries.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov said that the Scribles were poisoned with a BZ chemical, which is not produced in Russia, but is available to NATO countries. BZ is a neuro-paralytic poison that can temporarily disable a person. Information, according to Lavrov, was obtained on the basis of confidentiality from the OPCW from the Swiss Center for Radiological and Chemical-Biological Analysis in Spiez.
