The site of MBH Media Mikhail Khodorkovsky was blocked at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office. This "MBH Media" reports on its Twitter.

The site is included in the register of resources containing calls for riots, carrying out extremist activities, participating in mass (public) events, as well as information materials of a foreign or international non-governmental organization whose activities are considered undesirable on the territory of the country.

The information project "MBH Media" was launched in late December last year after the blocking of the "Open Russia" website at the request of the prosecutor's office. Work on the project is conducted by the editors of "Open Russia". It was stressed that he was not connected with the movement, but personally belongs to Khodorkovsky.

The site of "Open Russia" was blocked on the night of December 12 at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office. The reason for the blockade was the publication of a resource of calls for mass riots and extremism, but which publications were not specifically mentioned.

Khodorkovsky linked the blocking with the drawing up of a dossier on the main shareholder of Bank Rossiya Yuri Kovalchuk by the "Open Russia". He said that the organization submitted a statement about the "crime" of the businessman to the first deputy general prosecutor, Alexander Buksman.

In April last year, the General Prosecutor's Office recognized as undesirable organizations the British "OR (Otkrytaya Rossia)" and the Open Russia Civic Movement, as well as the US-registered Open Russia Institute of Modern Russia, Inc. The department stressed that this decision will not affect the work of "Open Russia".
